Deck of Cards

This project is to create a traditional deck of playing cards, each sized at 2.5x3.5 inches. The unique theme centered around the Chinese 24 solar terms, integrating cultural depth into a functional game accessory. The theme of the project was the traditional Chinese 24 solar terms, a culturally rich and historically significant system that segments the year into 24 periods, each reflecting a specific stage in the agricultural calendar and the changing of seasons. Each card was to be marked with Chinese characters representing one of the solar terms, thereby transforming the deck into a fusion of a gaming tool and a cultural artifact.
